If you’re pursuing something in business, pick something you like and in which you are willing to invest time. I hear there are opportunities to pursue businesses that do other things, but I personally cannot recommend doing something you don’t love, pursuing a market because it seems lucrative but isn’t particularly appealing to you. In my opinion, the downside risk of that is very high.
And don’t get me wrong, maybe you like sales and find a good opportunity selling something you don’t especially love. Do it! You have my blessing. Just be honest with yourself and try to determine how your smaller and immediate goals fit alongside your broader goals.
