I wish this weren’t worth mentioning, but I feel like I’m surrounded by advice that really isn’t good to follow. Like people want to know what celebrities think—why? Like those people were (often) at auditions in grade school. The actors who _play_ smart are acting. And like people who are savvy in a particular area don’t have like a special power such that they understand all the mysteries of the universe. Don’t get me wrong, I like to collect a lot of feedback, too. But I realize nobody’s gonna be responsible for me. I’m lucky if I get sincere feedback. For all I know, it could be fake.
